More family drama!!

I can't seem to shake this cloud of family sickness/death off of me and it's driving me crazy. My father in law went to the hospital yesterday with chest pains and now this morning after a catherization it was found that he has complete blockage in his arteries and he needs a triple possibly quadruple bypass surgery. The news is a little overwhelming to say the least but I am still trusting in God that His will will be done in this situation. The way I see it the Lord could have taken him the first time this happened to him a year ago. But he didn't. Now I am trying to figure out the reason for all this. To top it off, Artie is leaving tomorrow to California to move his uncle Gene and family back to NY. So Artie gets to hop on a plane knowing that his father is ailing. Lord have mercy!!! His surgery is not scheduled for a week so that he can empty his body of medications that he was previously on. So Artie should be back before he goes under. Artie's main concern is that after surgery that his father won't be the same person personality wise. I guess we are going to have to see how this pans out.

I will keep you posted as to what is going on as the days come nearer to the surgery. I gotta admit I am a little "numb" inside but there is nothing else I can do but pray that everything works out. Keep him in prayer...thanks...
