Continuation of preschool tour!!

Well when I arrived at the preschool, you had to buzz someone so they could open the door. (very comforting..needless to say). I was greeted by a very nice lady by the name of Kirsten, and we went up a flight of stairs to the babies and toddler section. OMG..that was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Seeing a nursery full of babies just brought back crazy memories. Almost made me want another one but I fought the temptation. Then we went up to the next floor which was the 3 year old floor. It was so cute. They had their own lockers with their names on it and there was a binder on the top of each one. These binders are for record keeping on what the child has done for the week and what they have learned and how they are doing. Then we actually went to one of the 3 year old classes and man did it bring back memories of when I was in preschool. I actually remember..crazy huh!! The kids were all looking and me and saying "Who is she" and of course the tour guide told them she is a mommy checking out our preschool for her son. She told me they have story time and a section to play with blocks and they even have a computer, which was kind of cool. The next floor was for four old to kindergarten. It was pretty much the same set up as well. She also showed me the sanctuary where they would be having chapel and also the gym, where they would be playing as well.

Overall, I thought it was a great facility considering it was just down the road from my job. I can't wait to see how Donovan's reaction is going to be the first day he is there. Of course the next posting about his preschool is going to be with pics so you can enjoy the view from where I am standing.

Where did time go! A papito le va a encantar poder estar con otros de su edad. Me parece un sueno.

It's both sad and exciting...I've thought of preschool too, but it's just too expensive right now. I'm actually looking into a Christian ballet/worship dance place that has classes starting for 3 year olds to get her with kids...so we'll see. Will Ava join him? Do you think he'll do OK without her and vice versa?

Ava is going to join him next year..hopefully if finances allow. I think he will do fine without her but she probably will miss him for a while.
