Hot and humid weekend!!

Well this weekend was Donovan's b-day party and we bought him a trampoline. We had all the immediate family over and so Donovan was able to play with his cousins. We had the little pool and an Elmo's sprinkler. We had a great feast as well from steak, ribs, veggies and corn all on the bbq. YUM. I was very thankful for all those who were able to come out on such a hot day! But the one who took the hit was the birthday boy. By the end of the day he was complaining of a headache and by the end of the night he was getting sick and throwing up. So needless to say I was up all night with him but by the morning like a trooper he was ready to go thank God.

Sunday service was great. I had Uncle Gene on the keyboard and we sang two new but old songs and the spirit of God was greatly felt. At the end of the service my mom showed up with her cousins from California, Esther and Miguel. It was nice because there were able to see me in action with my drums and leading worship. She is such a tremendous prayer warrior and you can see God leakin off of her. When she prays it's like fire from heaven and when I got the opportunity to greet her we latched on and hugged and cried and I just felt the greatest comfort spiritually.

Can't wait for these next couple of weeks to go by...we will be back in Lake George camping for a week on Labor Day.
