Well now that the wedding that I was in is over and my in laws are moved into my old home, I think I can get my life back in order. I have been off the track with my weight loss program but starting tomorrow it's start all over again. Although I haven't noticed any weight gain (which is good), I am going to continue on. My goal is to get to a single digit size. Not a far fetched goal. I am not doing so bad considering I am a mother of two under 3.
Just so you know what kind of "diet" I am on...I decided to go with the Mediterranean diet. This consists of just fruits, vegetables, chicken, turkey and fish. I also eat Ezekiel 4:9 bread which is very good carbs and it helps with your digestive system. I have stayed away from any junk food, processed food and unfortunately candy. I all I drink morning, noon and night is water. Nothing else. If I am going to consume calories, I figure I might as well eat them and not drink them. But it has worked. In the first week, not only did I loose 4 pounds but I lost 1 inch on my arms, chest, waist and thighs. Not bad for a chunky butt!! I have also been working out with a DVD called "Turbo Jam". I love it. These DVDs have made working out fun. If you know me I hated it but now I feel like I need it. For all those that are trying to lose weight I encourage you to find a way to do so for your health. I have learned a lot in the past year what food actually does to your body and why you shouldn't really be eating it. When you actually have knowledge of that you kind of change your eating habits on your own. Trust me it is not easy to stop eating burgers and fries but in the long run it benefits you if chose to modify your meals based on what their ingredients are.
