Well today I have accomplished a lot. Artie, Richie, Luis and I along with the help of my mother were able to clean out most the crap that came from the basement of my mother's house. You don't realize how much crap you can accumulate but let me tell ya...I am carefully considering looking into my attic before I make any moves...
We also got most of the fall clean up done as well since we are leaving for Florida in about a week. So excited...anyways, we decided to wait on the clean up until the tree in between my mom's house and mine was completely bare. Artie borrowed one of Danny's mowers and a leaf blower and we were able to get the front done. Tomorrow we are going to go for the back. We cleared out the 5 flower spots my dad always used to plant flowers on as well. I think it made my mom feel better knowing that that was all done the way my dad would have wanted it.
Today my mom was able to go into my dad's closet and go through his clothes. Let me tell ya I couldn't do. As a matter I tried to do it about a month ago and I just got a wif of his scent and I had to shut the closet door abruptly. Well at least my mom is trying to put one foot forward to start the healing process.
Right now I am home with my kids as they are watching "Over the Hedge" and Artie, Luis and Richie are at my mom's building racks for the closet that Artie built for my mom. I dont' care what they say about my man...he does great work when it is done...Ha Ha Ha haterz...
